- Responsible for preparing and calculating air freight quotes and customized pricing solutions for our global logistics projects involving heavy/OOG and general freight air freight
- Preparing and calculating air freight quotes and customized pricing solutions in close collaboration with our global offices
- Acting as the central point of contact for tenders with air freight scopes and ensuring complete, competitive and concise air freight pricing
- Developing and maintaining competitive buy and sell rates and ensuring transparent and traceable calculations
- Monitoring and analyzing market, capacity, and pricing trends
- Negotiating terms with airlines, GSAs/partners, and other service providers
- Handling ad-hoc inquiries and smaller-scope tenders for air freight export and import
- Supporting the sales team in developing customer-specific pricing strategies
- Following up on submitted quotes
- Collaborating with our global offices in obtaining their local air freight costs for tenders
- Assisting in the development and implementation of pricing strategies for specific trade lanes, routes, or products
- Handing over secured shipments to the relevant operational departments
- Conducting price analysis for air freight export and import as part of tenders and providing pricing guidance to the offices
- Developing and maintaining relationships to airlines and air freight handling partners
- Developing strategies to optimize revenue

Your profile
- Ideally, 5+ years professional experience in the field
- Completed vocational training or retraining as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist, Logistics Bachelor Degree or similar education
- Professional experience in air freight, freight forwarding, pricing, or tender management
- Solid knowledge of the international air freight market
- Experience working with airline rates and freight calculations
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- A responsible, reliable, and motivated personality with a can-do attitude
